Overview


The EV27Y72A Socket Board is used to support appications where the 3-Lead Contact Package has been implemented.   The Socket board is mikroBUS compatible and supports CryptoAuthenticationTM products that support this package type.   

This includes the ATECC608B, ATSHA204A, ATECC508A and ATECC108A.  The socket  supports Microchip SWI interface as well as a second SWI-PWM interface for upcoming products currently in development.   The socket can be used to support products that have a dedicated power supply or those applications that are parsitically powered through the serial interface.   

The 3-Lead Contact Package is a unique package that  can be mounted directly to accessories where no PCB is desired.  Contact is made to the package through a contact connector or pogo-pin connection when the accessory is installed into the host unit.
