No, Microchip does not have to be directly involved with your business with the Design Partner. You will work directly with the Design Partner on any contracts, terms and conditions, etc. you agree upon for your project.
What are the best practices for engaging with a Design Partner?
We always recommend doing your due diligence when selecting a Design Partner. Here are some things to keep in mind:
1. Specs and requirements
- Does the Design Partner have the skills necessary to create what you envision?
2. Complexity
