Getting Started with MPLAB Harmony Integrated Software Framework

MPLAB Harmony provides a MPLAB Harmony Configurator (MHC) MPLAB-X IDE plug-in that can be installed in MPLAB X IDE to help you create your own MPLAB Harmony applications.

To create a new MPLAB Harmony application with MHC, follow these four steps:

• Step 1: Install MHC

• Step 2: Create the New Harmony Project

• Step 3: Add and Configure the Required Libraries and Modules

• Step 4: MPLAB Harmony Application Structure and Developing the Application

Note: If you are a Microchip Libraries for Applications (MLA) user, and will be porting your application from the MLA TCP/IP, File System, USB Device, Graphics, or peripheral libraries to the MPLAB Harmony equivalents, refer to Section 9. “Porting to MPLAB Harmony” in the MPLAB Harmony Help PDF, which is available in the following installation location: <install-dir>/docs/help_harmony.pdf.

Full instructions are in the download below called Harmony_rev19_GS_en455421.
