MCP998x Automotive Temperature Sensor Family

Keep Rolling With Thermal Protection and the AEC-Q100 MCP998x Multi-Channel Temperature Sensor Family

Automotive electronics continue to need quality multichannel digital temperature sensor solutions. However, there are few AEC-Q100 qualified multi-channel solutions on the market. To answer this need, the MCP998x provides 10 new devices with 1°C accuracy for monitoring up to five channels and includes shutdown options that cannot be overwritten by software.

Avoid the Potholes of Thermal Management With the MCP998x Temperature Sensor Family

Using low-cost BJTs to measure remote temperatures, the MCP998x family of automotive-qualified 1°C multichannel digital temperature sensors (also known as remote temperature sensors) allows you to monitor between two and five temperature sensors. Depending on your needs, this product family can contain devices with two alerts or devices with an alert and shutdown.
