Pin-Selectable, I2C-Configurable Switching Regulator ICs and Modules


We provide a range of pin-compatible, DC-DC step-down switching regulators that can lower your system's Bill of Materials (BOM) cost. Use the pin-selectable and I2C-configurable features to optimize your system’s performance, simplify layout requirements and reduce the number of external components.

The pin-selectable and I2C-configurable features create flexible power supply designs. This flexibility empowers you to address a broader range of power rails within a system, resulting in reduced development efforts and providing a significant pricing advantage. This is particularly advantageous for next-generation microprocessors (MPUs) and Systems-on-Chips (SoCs), which often rely on dynamic voltage scaling techniques to minimize power dissipation and enhance overall system performance. Previously, implementing such techniques typically required the use of multiple external components.

Flexible and Configurable Features

Pin Selectable

The output voltage is set by two VSEL pins between different values. It eliminates the need for an external feedback resistor divider and improves the output voltage setting accuracy.

I2C Configurable

The output voltage is programmed between set voltages with resolution. It allows for more flexibility and higher performance.
