The AT17F Flash-based configuration memory family can be used to configure low-cost SRAM FPGAs as well as higher-density high-performance FPGAs from Xilinx and Altera. The AT17F family is offered in densities of 4 Mb up to 16 Mb and can be used to configure the Spartan® and Virtex® families of FPGAs offered by Xilinx. These configuration memory devices have In-System Programmable (ISP) capability and can be used as data storage for the most popular FPGAs and programmable SoCs. Supported by easy-to-use Configuration Programming Software (CPS), the AT17F family is recommended for new FPGA designs. They are available in small form-factor, RoHS-compliant packages that reduce the amount of board space needed in your design. As system-level drop-in solutions for popular FPGA-based systems, these devices also can speed up your time to market.
The popular AT17LV EEPROM configuration memory devices can be used with our Field Programmable System Level Integrated Circuits (FPSLIC) devices and our AT40KxxAL FPGAs, or any SRAM-based FPGA from any supplier, including Xilinx and Altera. They come in densities from 256 Kb to 4 Mb, are reprogrammable at 5V or 3.3V using an industry-standard 2-wire serial bus and are available in space-saving packages including small-footprint 8-pin packages.
