STAPL player is a tool used to program third-generation Flash devices such as ProASIC Plus®, ProASIC® 3, IGLOO®, SmartFusion® and Fusion FPGAs. STAPL player uses the STAPL output from Libero® IDE and Libero SoC Design Suite to program the FPGA.
In addition to processing the STAPL file, the STAPL player can:
- Process STAPL files for use in programming Flash devices
- Check the CRC of a STAPL file without execution
- Access the signals of an IEEE® 1149.1 interface
- Create accurate real-time delays with reliable mechanisms
- Report exit status information after execution
