The following hardware programmers are used to program the FPGA families listed above through the Silicon Sculptor programming tool.
Silicon Sculptor 4 offers increased memory size and faster data processing compared to previous Microchip programmers. With 2 GB of internal memory, Silicon Sculptor 4 allows concurrent programming of large parts without performance degradation and it supports the larger algorithms of planned future parts.
Silicon Sculptor adapter modules are package specific and although they depend on the product family, they are independent of gate count.
Silicon Sculptor 3 is a programmer with four times the memory size and 64 MB of internal memory.
