The SyncServer® S650 M-Code uses our FlexPort technology to provide unmatched synchronization flexibility and performance. The GPS M-Code/SAASM-referenced S650 M-Code is easily adaptable for modern instrumentation systems and networks that require best-in-class synchronization performance for a wide range of applications.
This modular time server combines the best of time and frequency instrumentation with unique flexibility and powerful network-based and security-hardened features. The timing output flexibility provides easy replication of precise and coherent output signals, eliminating the need for a signal distribution chassis.
The timing I/O modules are exceedingly versatile time and frequency input and output options. They support the most popular input and output time codes, sine waves, and rates (IRIG A, IRIG B, IRIG E, IRIG G, 10 MHz, 1 PPS, T1/E1 and more).
Our unique FlexPort technology efficiently and cost effectively adds innovative any signal, any connector technology to the timing I/O modules, eliminating the wasted space inherent with legacy-style, fixed-signal modules/BNCs.
The rubidium atomic clock upgrade improves the stability and ongoing accuracy, as well as the holdover accuracy, of the SyncServer S650 M-Code time server to possibly save the user valuable time. If the GPS signal is lost, which places the unit in holdover, the rubidium atomic clock significantly improves the clock accuracy during the holdover period.
Some applications require security enhancements above and beyond what might otherwise be acceptable. In addition to supporting the standard network security protocols, the SyncServer S650 M-Code time server can be configured to provide additional timing, operational and authentication security to create the most hardened NTP/PTP server. This makes the S650 M-Code an excellent choice for Zero Trust networks.
Two Low Phase Noise (LPN modules) are available for applications requiring superior LPN 10 MHz signals. Each module has eight extremely isolated, phase-coherent 10 MHz LPN outputs to offer excellent LPN or Ultra LPN performance with low spurious noise characteristics.
The IEEE® 1588 PTP output license enables PTP grandmaster operations that leverage the built-in hardware timestamping available in all SyncServer time servers. This single-option license allows the LAN 2, 3 and 4 ports, as well as the optional 10 GbE LAN 5 and 6 ports, to be uniquely configured as PTP grandmasters. This is a very cost-effective solution for scaling PTP grandmaster operations and increasing configuration flexibility. PTP can also be configured as an input time reference.
