Our autonomous TimeCesium PRSs—PRS-4400 and PRS-4500—are based on the latest cesium III technology. They are designed to generate superior and highly reliable synchronization signals for advanced network services that meet the G.811 and G.811.1 standards. The TimeCesium PRS produces accurate, spectrally pure and stable output signals using a cesium beam tube resonator. It delivers total control of your 5G network synchronization source, enhances network performance, reduces errors in the SONET/SDH payload and prevents upstream network clock errors from propagating across the network.
To support secure 5G network communications, the virtual Primary Reference Time Clock (vPRTC) is a highly secure and resilient network-based timing architecture that blends our secure GNSS firewall technology, high-precision atomic system clocks and a portfolio of trusted time solutions to meet the expanding needs for 5G deployment. The TimeCesium PRS plays an important role in the vPRTC as it provides the time reference when GNSS source clocks are not available.
