They can be used to control brushless DC, permanent magnet synchronous, AC induction and stepper motors and are available in various packages and with an extended (125°C) temp option.

It can be used with the Microchip MCHV-2 [DM330023-2]and MCLV-2 [DM330021-2]. It is not compatible with the MCLV [DM330021] and MCHV [DM330023] boards. Please use the MA330028 with the MCLV and MCHV.
