The PIC18F96J94 family of 8-bit microcontrollers offer USB and segmented LCD (upto 480 segments) capability with nanoWatt XLP technology in the same device. With upto 100 pin and 128K flash devices in the family, which is the first on a 8-bit PIC® MCU, this family has a rich peripheral set like CTMU, hardware RTCC, 12 bit A/D, along with the standard ones. With the support of Vbat mode, for battery based applications, they are best suited for applications like, hand held devices, data loggers, medical applications etc
