The Microchip Technology Inc.24AA025E64 is a 2Kb Serial EEPROM with a preprogrammed IEEE EUI-64 MAC Address. The device is organized as two blocks of 128 x 8-bit memory with a 2-wire serial interface. Low voltage design permits operation down to 1.7V, with maximum standby and active currents of only 1 uA and 1 mA, respectively. The 24AA025E64 also has a page write capability for up to sixteen bytes of data. The 24AA025E64 is available in the standard 8-pin SOIC, 6-lead SOT-23.

MPLAB® X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) is an expandable, highly configurable software program that incorporates powerful tools to help you discover, configure, develop, debug and qualify embedded designs for most of Microchip’s microcontrollers, microprocessors and digital signal controllers.
Designers of Serial EEPROM applications can enjoy the increased productivity, reduced time to market, and rock-solid design that only a well thought out development system can provide. Microchips MPLAB Starter Kit for Serial Memory Products includes everything necessary to quickly develop a robust and reliable Serial EEPROM design while greatly reducing the time required for system integration and hardware/software fine-tuning.
The MPLAB. PM3 Universal Device Programmer operates with a PC or as a stand-alone unit, and programs Microchips entire line of PICmicro.devices as well as the latest dsPIC30F DSC devices.
The ICP2(G3) Production Quality In-Circuit Programmer is a cost-effective programmer that operates with a PC or as a standalone unit. It programs 8-bit PIC® / AVR® MCUs and Serial EEPROMs & Flash ICs.
The ICP2(G3)-DP Production Quality In-Circuit Programmer is a cost-effective programmer that operates with a PC or as a standalone unit. It programs 8-bit PIC® & AVR® MCUs, 16-bit PIC MCUs & dsPIC® DSCs and Serial EEPROMs & Flash ICs.
MAC Address click provides a unique node address for your application. It also has 1Kbit of writable EEPROM memory. MAC Address click carries the 24AA025E64 2K I2C Serial EEPROM with EUI-64™ node identity. The click is designed to run on either 3.3V or 5V power supply. MAC Address click communicates with the target microcontroller over I2C interface.
