Introduction to PolarFire FPGAs is a one-day course for engineers who are implementing designs targeting PolarFire FPGAs. This class describes the PolarFire FPGA architecture, including the logic element, RAM blocks, Math blocks, uPROM, clocking resources and I/Os. We will introduce the high-speed serial interfaces and unique debug features of PolarFire FPGAs and facilitate hands-on lab exercises using the PolarFire FPGA Splash Kit or Evaluation Kit to provide practical applications of the material presented.
