Overview
The TDINV3000W050B 3.0 kW inverter evaluation kit provides an easy way to evaluate the performance advantages of Transphorm’s latest SuperGaN FETs in various various applications such as vehicle-to-grid (V2G), solar or photovoltaic (PV) inverters, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPSes). The kit provides the main features of a single-phase inverter in a proven, functional configuration, operating at or above 50kHz, with a flat efficiency curve above 500 W of greater than 98.5%. It uses Microchip's dsPIC33CK (Plug-In Module MA330048) along with four Transphorm SuperGaN Gen IV 50mΩ devices in the industry's standard and thermally efficient TO-247-3 package (full bridge configuration).
