The RTG4 Development Kit board includes the following features:
The RTG4-DEV-KIT provides space customers with an evaluation and development platform for applications such as data transmission, serial
connectivity, bus interface and high speed designs using RTG4 Radiation-Tolerant High-Density High-Performance FPGAs.
The development board features a RT4G150 device offering more 150,000 logic elements in a Ceramic package with 1,657 pins.
RTG4 Dev Kit Ordering Information
There are four versions of RTG4 development kits listed in the table above. Differences in the kit versions are determined by package type of the RTG4 PROTO FPGAs on the board, either Ceramic Ball Grid Array (CBGA) or Ceramic Column Grid Array (CCGA). The RTG4 PROTO devices in CCGA package use the same package as space flight models. The RTG4 PROTO devices in CBGA package is only intended for design prototyping and evaluation. CBGAs are not intended for environmental testing, flight testing, or space flight.
The CBGA kits are available with standard speed and -1 speed devices. The CCGA kits are also available with standard speed and -1 speed devices. Please note that Libero SoC design software for RTG4 FPGAs does not make a distinction between CBGA and CCGA packages, or between PROTO and space flight devices. User can select CCGA1657 package even when designing with CBGA1657 as a prototyping vehicle.
Please Note: a Libero SoC Design Software Platinum license is required to use the RT4G150 device which must be purchased and is not included with the kit.
