Key Features:
The MPLAB® XC Unified Network Server License unlocks the complete capabilities of the MPLAB XC8, XC16, XC32 and XC-DSC compilers, enabling advanced-level optimizations, significant reductions in code size, and superior performance.
The network server license type enables organizations to efficiently manage and distribute licenses in a networked environment. It allows for license installation on a network, with the capability to support a large number of users through multiple licenses. This promotes collaboration and productivity, making it ideal for global companies with multiple design centers located in different geographies. Additionally, the loan-out feature provides the flexibility of temporarily allocating licenses.
A network server license is a shared license that allows one person to compile at a time. Once used, the license remains captured by that person for 60 minutes, during which no one else can use it. If that person compiles again, the 60 minutes restarts.
The MPLAB XC Unified Network Server License also comes with 12 months of High Priority Access (HPA). HPA is a 12-month maintenance service that provides unlimited PRO optimizations for all MPLAB® XC compiler versions, priority technical support for compiler-related queries, and free shipping of development tools ordered on Microchip’s Purchasing and Client Services e-commerce website.
