Description
This example is designed to periodically read the ambient temperature using the MCP9700 sensor, driven using the DAC module. Then the output voltage is connected to the OPA module to amplify the signal. The output of the OPA is internally connected to the ADC module, which is configured in Average mode to accumulate eight values in eight seconds, then return the digital value that will be converted to a representation of the ambient temperature in degrees Celsius readable via the UART module. This example includes different low-power methods such as Sleep Mode, LFINTOSC as main clock, or APM that allows analog modules to be core independently switched on and off periodically, ideal for low power applications that use analog sensors that only need to be periodically measured.
