AVR® Insights - Episode 18 - What is a Analog Comparator?
Do you know how an Analog Comparator works? Why do you use an Analog Comparator? How do I use an AVR Analog Comparator on a microcontroller? These are all answered in the video!
Analog comparator takes two input signals and compares them to trigger different events in a microcontroller. For example, the Analog Comparator (AC) could trigger as a timer to capture an event or as a trigger to read an Analog to Digital converter value without using written code in the software for the microcontroller.
