20009 CIP3 - Applying Core Independent Peripherals to Implement Data Communication Protocols
This video explores the usage of Microchip’s Core Independent Peripherals (CIPs) in data communication applications. These CIPs, present on 8-bit and 16-bit MCUs, provide building blocks and functionalities suitable for digital communication applications ranging from modulation to protocol implementation. The peripherals discussed include DSM, SENT, PTG, I2S, CLC, CCP, NCO, as well as UART, I2C and SPI. Application case studies are provided to better illustrate the use of those CIPs.
