Local Interconnect Network (LIN) with OptoLyzer Studio and OptoLyzer MOCCA CL
The idea behind Local Interconnect Network (LIN) was to provide a cost efficient serial bus system for uses cases where the bandwidth of Controller Area Network or CAN is not required. Typically this are sensor and low bandwidth control applications. The LIN specification 1.0 was first released in 1999. As of today the current LIN specification is version 2.2. This video will explain LIN fundamentals and show an intuitively accessible example based on development tools from K2L (http://www.k2l.de)
