Demo Description
30 kW L3 Fast Charger Power Supply Unit (PSU) This demo showcases a static 30 kW Level 3 fast charger Power Supply Unit (PSU) designed for Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Electric Vehicle (EV) chargers and high-power switch-mode applications. Encased in a 19" 3U chassis, the PSU integrates PFC and DC-DC converter functionalities.
40–1000V Auxiliary Power Supply This demo features high-voltage auxiliary power supply for industrial and solar equipment. The power supply efficiently converts high-voltage DC bus to low-voltage sources for control circuits, cooling fans and sensing circuits. It is optimized for reliability with a simple topology and low component count, operating across a wide input voltage range.
Bi-Directional Onboard Charger (OBC) This demo features a single-phase totem pole Power Factor Correction (PFC) reference design integrated with a dual active bridge DC-DC converter for bi-directional operation in automotive Onboard Chargers (OBCs). The modular design includes Plug-In Modules (PIMs) and flexible software to support various operation modes.
Electromechanical Power Relays Designed for harsh environments across transportation, space, military, aviation and downhole drilling, our portfolio of power relays includes space-grade relays, QOL relays and custom relays. E-Scooter Ecosystem Showcase This demo showcases a real-time power output visualization for an E-Scooter application through a Graphical User Interface (GUI).
High-Voltage Auxiliary E-Fuse Board This demo showcases an advanced Electronic Fuse (E-Fuse) solution for Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) and Electric Vehicles (EVs) that utilizes 700V and 1200V mSiC™ technology. This solution features a Time-Current Characteristic (TCC) curve for seamless integration into automotive and industrial applications like DC Solid-State Circuit Breakers (SSCBs).

 

High-Voltage Modular Battery Management System (BMS)

 

This demo will teach you how to monitor six-series lithium-ion batteries using the PAC1952, which includes state-of-charge determination through coulomb counting, passive cell balancing and GUI support for battery-level visualization.
Integrated Power Solutions This demo showcases an integrated power solution for motor control applications in E-Mobility, focusing on aviation actuation. Users can physically adjust the motor drive speed in real time. The demo includes IGBT, hybrid Silicon Carbide (SiC) and full SiC solutions, with both standard and custom options available.
MPLAB® SiC Power Simulator Our MPLAB SiC Power Simulator provides accurate calculations of power losses and estimates junction temperatures for SiC devices. Designed for DC-AC, AC-DC and DC-DC converter topologies, this tool uses lab-tested data to evaluate device performance quickly and streamline power converter design.
Motor Control Solutions (350W to 10 kW) This demo showcases a portfolio of motor control solutions on a shadow frame, offering a comprehensive overview of products for applications ranging from 350W to 10 kW.
Packages for mSiC Products This demo will show you our comprehensive portfolio of discrete and module packages for mSiC products and showcase the range of available configurations.
Power Switching Discretes and High-Frequency VDMOS Parts This demo shows how you can use 200–1200V, 3–175A power switching discrete devices such as diodes, IGBTs and MOSFETs for applications including DC-DC/AC-DC converters, PFCs, solar, SMPS, battery charging, heating, welding and motor control. This demo will also show how our 80–1200V high-frequency VDMOS family can be used for very high switching in the range of 2–175 MHz for semi-cap equipment, pulse generators, heating, lighting and RF generators.
PSMT Display With Heat Sink This demo exhibits stages of the PSMT package assembly and the attachment of heat sinks to give you insight into thermal management solutions.
Single-Channel mSiC Gate Driver Learn about a new isolated single-channel mSiC gate driver solution that is compatible with both Microchip and third-party gate drivers for flexible integration.
Smart LED Street Lighting This single-MCU solution drives LED panels and communicates via Digital Addressable Lighting Interface (DALI) for streetlight applications.
SP6LI Evaluation Board (SP6LIEVB) A versatile evaluation board for SP6LI mSiC™ MOSFET modules, this board determines switching losses through Double Pulse Test (DPT) and simplifies high-power module integration while promoting energy-efficient power electronics system design.
USB Power Delivery (PD) Dual Charging Port With a consistent usage model, this demo simplifies USB Type-C® and USB Power Delivery (PD) applications and includes discussions about the potential addition of wireless charging functionality.
XIFM Augmented Switching This demo features an intelligent isolated plug-and-play mSiC gate driver for driving 3.3 kV SiC modules in high-voltage packages such as high-voltage LinPak and HV100. Learn about gate drive control, power supply, fiber optic interface and 10.2 kV high-voltage isolation.
600–1700V High-Reliability Power Module This demo highlights baseless modules, a low-inductance SP6LI power module, SP6HPD and SP7HPD+ driver for E-Mobility, with a focus on aviation actuation. Modules include IGBT, SiC and hybrid SiC switches, offering customization for specific requirements.
600–1700V IGBT Power Modules Explore our versatile IGBT power modules up to 900A and 1700V with multiple topologies, configurations and industry-standard or custom packages. The IGBT 7 portfolio provides 50% higher current capability, 15% lower losses and enhanced dv/dt controllability to withstand junction temperatures up to 175°C.
