Microchip Ennis in Ireland is a leading provider of embedded control applications and semiconductors.  This site is a center of excellence for high-reliability screening and has been DLA certified since 1986. It contains a best-in-class screening house with a track record of over three decades.

The site operates with over 100 test methods qualified to MIL-PRF-19500 and 59% of MIL-PRF-19500 products are on the MIL-PRF-19500 Qualified Manufacturers List (QML). With over 600,000 sockets, it’s the largest high-reliability discrete screening house in the world. The site is also Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certified and AS9100, MIL-PRF-19500, MIL-STD-750 and ISO 14001 certified.  

Building secure, robust and reliable electronic systems for space, aviation and defense applications is critical. The Ennis site has a long history and proven track record of providing innovative, reliable and high-quality solutions for these applications. In 1957, they supplied the electromechanical relays for the Atlas launch vehicle. Voyager 1, the farthest man-made object from Earth, has been utilizing their frequency control products to aid in data transmission from a distance of 13 billion miles.
