Microchip Technology in Germany has offices in several cities, including Karlsruhe, Neckarbischofsheim, Teltow, Garching, Haan and Heilbronn.

Microchip Karlsruhe is an Automotive Information Systems (AIS) and Data Center Solutions (DCS) site located in Technologiepark in Karlsruhe. Karlsruhe is a city on the Rhine in Baden-Württemberg north of the Black Forest that is well known in Germany for being a central hub for science and technology.

The Microchip Neckarbischofsheim facility is located in southwest Germany about 30 kilometers outside of Heidelberg. The facility develops and manufactures precision quartz crystals and crystal oscillators used in telecommunication, test and measurement, medical and radar systems. The Neckarbischofsheim site features teams of R&D, marketing, processing, purchasing, production planning, inside sales and human resources. For more than 20 years, Microchip Neckarbischofsheim has been educating qualified students in collaboration with local universities in different fields.

Microchip Technology in Garching focuses on all sales and applications activities for markets in Switzerland and Germany. The office is a center of excellence for power conversion, 2D, 3D human interface and ASIC design.

The Microchip Teltow facility is located southwest of Berlin. The site develops and manufactures products based on Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) technology, mainly frequency filters used in wireless systems for communication, industrial, aerospace and defense applications. The Teltow site has several departments such as marketing, R&D, production, logistics (supply chain management and procurement), HR and others.
