Microchip In Pennsylvania

For over 60 years, our Mount Holly Springs locationa 100,000 square foot manufacturing facility focusing on test operations and automated and manual assembly, has been providing timing solutions for satellites, deep space exploration, military systems, GPS, communication networks and much more. We are equipped with a 10,000 square foot class clean room for hybrid and crystal assembly, a separate manufacturing area for circuit board and module assembly, extensive testing operations and an R&D engineering lab. Nestled in a small town with beautiful mountain and countryside views, we are conveniently located close to I-81 and just 30 minutes from Harrisburg. Our team members have an average of 22 years of service, with some even reaching 40–50 years. We offer a friendly, family-like environment and the opportunity for employees to be a part of a team that works together to make a difference for our customers. The Mount Holly Springs location also offers an onsite fitness center, Microchip Activity Committee (MAC) social events, an onsite ping pong room and an onsite wellness and meditation room.

Our Allentown location is a design engineering center for the Data Center Solutions (DCS) and FPGA business units. Located on the fourth floor of the Frederick building, the facility provides a spacious office environment with great views of the surrounding area and contains an on-site engineering lab.

Located in a vibrant mid-sized city, the Reading location provides electrical and physical design, test development and customer application support of a wide range of integrated circuit products. Supported technologies include silicon carbide drivers for electric vehicles, Power over Ethernet (PoE) and USB power switching. Our 18,000 square foot facility has two engineering labs, best-in-class accoutrements and comfortable individual workspaces with a friendly atmosphere.

The Philadelphia office focuses on the design, development and implementation of gate drivers for silicon carbide devices for electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, smart grid and renewable energy applications worldwide. You can easily walk to this urban office, which has a wide-open feel and vibrant energy from Microchip and other co-located companies. This location is minutes from the center of town and close to beautiful suburbs in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

Located along the Schuykill River, the Norristown location is just six miles from the Philadelphia city limits. This design engineering center supports the MSLD business unit. The 9700 square foot facility is an ISO 9001-certified office space with a dedicated design lab and an environmentally controlled engineering test area.
