Microchip In Oregon
Microchip’s Fab 4 manufacturing facility is located in Gresham, just outside of Portland. This fab houses a 124,000 square foot ISO Class 3/4/5 clean room and a 77,000 square foot ISO Class 6/7 clean room to produce 200 mm (8-inch) wafers. Fab 4 employs nearly 700 employees and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days per year.
Fab 4 manufactures a large variety of technologies and products that serve all sectors of Microchip’s product portfolio including automotive, industrial, communications, consumer, aerospace and defense and data centers and computing.
