Microchip Technology in Massachusetts is located in Lowell, Beverly and Lawrence.
In Lowell, Microchip’s facility designs and manufactures high-performance silicon, Gallium Arsenide (GaAs) and Gallium Nitride (GaN) Radio Frequency (RF) and microwave semiconductors and modules. Their solutions and expertise in manufacturing system-engineered integrated circuits and other electronic components serve customers across the industrial, consumer, aerospace, defense, automotive, communications and computing markets. The facility includes a wide range of functions including manufacturing, engineering, R&D, logistics, supply chain, business operations, quality and Human Resources (HR).
In Beverly, our Frequency and Time Systems (FTS) division provides world-class timing solutions for commercial, military and aerospace applications. FTS develops and manufactures high-performance atomic clocks including cesium beam frequency standards, rubidium oscillators and Chip-Scale Atomic Clocks (CSACs).
Microchip Beverly has two facilities on Tozer Road and Brimbal Avenue that perform the following functions: manufacturing, engineering, R&D, logistics, supply chain, business operations, quality, physics research and HR.
Located in the historic Mill District, Microchip’s Lawrence facility has a proud heritage of military semiconductor manufacturing for over four decades. In addition, the facility is a wafer source for Ennis, Ireland, the world's largest MIL-PRF-19500 screening and reliability testing facility. It offers an Enhanced Low Dose Rate Sensitivity (ELDRS) radiation testing chamber. The facility includes manufacturing operations, R&D, quality, HR, planning, supply chain and business operations.
