Our Fab 2 manufacturing facility is located in Tempe, Arizona, 13 miles from our corporate office in Chandler.
It’s not uncommon for the management team, production/fab employees and employees from other support groups to have 15 to 30 years of service. The Tempe facility has a great culture that strives to create a work environment that respects employees and encourages them to learn and develop. The leadership team also frequently promotes from within.
Fab 2 currently produces 8-inch wafers (200 mm) and predominantly utilizes our 0.25-to-1.0-micron processes. The facility utilizes 457K square feet of building space and has a 60K square foot Class 10 clean room (ISO Class 4 at workstations) to support various manufacturing process technologies and other functions including foundry services, development tools, research and development, testing labs and device modeling.

Each year we make significant investments developing new technologies and products, allowing our customers to create more sustainable and environmentally friendly products.
We continue to invest in more energy-efficient equipment within our own facilities and have taken other steps such as replacing standard lights with LED lighting to reduce energy consumption. We’ve also made changes within our manufacturing processes to reduce total water usage and decrease our effluent wastewater.
