The Flashtec NVMe 5016 controller is designed to support enterprise applications such as online transaction processing, financial data processing, database mining and other applications that are sensitive to latency and performance. It serves growing Artificial Intelligence (AI) needs with high throughput for reading and writing large data sets used in model training and inference processing and provides the high bandwidth necessary to move large volumes of data quickly between storage and compute resources.

Third-generation Flashtec NVMe 3016 and Flashtec NVMe 3108 enterprise and mainstream NVMe controllers address market demand for high-reliability, high-performance PCIe Gen 4 NVMe Solid State Drives (SSDs). The Flashtec NVMe 3016 enterprise controller delivers greater than 10 Gbps throughput and more than 2 million Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS), while the NVMe mainstream controller delivers 6 Gbps throughput and more than 1 million Input/Output Operations Per Second (IOPS).    

Flashtec firmware development acceleration tools and programmable architecture enable SSD developers to control product differentiation through firmware customization.
