The MSOP-10 and MSOP-8 Evaluation Board is a bond-out board that allows the system designer to quickly evaluate the operation of Microchip Technology’s devices in any of the following packages: • MSOP (8- and 10-pin ) • DIP (10 pin)
Note: • The Evaluation Board can be used as a MSOP- to DIP- converter • The kit contains 10 blank PCBs
The MCP46XX Evaluation Board allows the system designer to quickly evaluate the operation of Microchip Technology’s MCP4661 Digital Potentiometer device. The board uses the TSSOP20EV Generic PCB and has been populated for the MCP4661. The 6-pin header (PICkit Serial) has been jumpered to the MCP4661’s appropriate pins. This allows the PICkit Serial to communicate with the device.
Devices Supported: MCP4631, MCP4641, MCP4651, and MCP4661
The MCP4xxx Digital Potentiometer Daughter Board allows the system designer to quickly evaluate the operation of Microchip Technology’s MCP42XXX and MCP402X Digital Potentiometers. The MCP42XXX are dual Digital Potentiometer devices that have the same characteristics as their single Digital Potentiometer devices (MCP41XXX). The MCP402x devices are non-volatile devices that have similar characteristics as their volatile memory versions (MCP401X). The board supports two MCP42XXX devices to allow the Resistor Networks to be “stacked” and form a programmable windowed Digital Potentiometer and an MCP402X device, which can be replaced with an MCP401X device. The board has one MCP42010 device (10 kΩ), which can be the rheostats at the ends, and one MCP42010 device (10 kΩ) which is the potentiometer in the middle and a separate standalone potentiometer.
The board also has a voltage doubler device (TC1240A), which can be used to show the WiperLock Technology feature of the MCP4021.
The MCP4XXX Digital Potentiometer Daughter Board has been made configurable, via jumpers. This allows you to determine the configuration that you wish to have the four digital potentiometer of the MCP42XXX devices.
This is a blank PCB that allows the operation of Microchip Technology’s 8-pin devices to be easily evaluated. Each device pin is connected to a pull-up resistor, a pull-down resistor, an in-line resistor, and a loading capacitor. The PCB pads allow through hole or surface mount connectors to be installed to ease connection to the board. Additional passive component footprints are on the board, to allow simple circuits to be implemented.
Current Limit 5 Click is a compact add-on board representing a current-limiting solution. This board features the MIC2099, a current-limit power distribution switch from Microchip Technology. This Click board™ represents a programmable current limit solution with various protection features and fault indication, which operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V input voltage range. Also, the current limit is adjustable from 100mA up to 1.05A programmed through the MCP4561 digital potentiometer. This Click board™ is suitable for applications in portable equipment and condition monitoring or power supplies, protecting them in short circuits or other overload conditions.
Current Limit 5 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
