Synplify Pro® ME

Synopsys Synplify Pro ME synthesis software is integrated into Libero® SoC Design Suite and Libero IDE, allowing you to target and fully optimize your HDL design for any of our FPGA devices. You can launch Synplify Pro ME directly from the Libero SoC Design Suite project manager.

Synplify Pro ME is now available in the Evaluation, Gold and Platinum license editions of Libero SoC Design Suite. All of our FPGA devices support Synplify Pro ME.

Critical issue with Synplify Pro ME and Identify ME R2020.09MSP1-1 (Windows) software in batch mode

We identified a date-dependent issue with Synplify Pro ME and Identify ME R2020.09MSP1-1 (Windows) software bundled with Libero SoC Design Suite version 2021.1. When the Synplify Pro ME and Identify ME tool are run in batch mode on Windows, the error message "This software has expired" is reported starting on August 31, 2021, preventing design synthesis and debug.

Solution(s)

Install the updated versions of Synplify Pro ME and Identify ME R2020.09MSP1-1 (Windows) stand-alone software for Libero SoC Design Suite version 2021.1 that removes the date dependency by downloading it from the Synplify Pro ME and Identify ME web page after August 30, 2021. When running Synthesis and Identify within Libero SoC Design Suite version 2021.1, add a new Synthesis and Identify tool profile pointing to the synplify_pro.exe and identify_debugger.exe within the updated installation.
