This software is designed to work with our Domain Time II time synchronization components. It automatically provides a clear, indisputable records to easily resolve contested timestamp issues.
The Audit Server software collects records, including complete information to allow auditors to determine precisely when a machine was last synchronized, with what time source and its variance from the reference time source.
Easily Retrievable Vital Information
Audit Server regularly queries the detailed internal statistics on the operations that Domain Time II time servers and time client services keep. The statistics from clients and servers that are regularly retrieved using the Domain Time II protocol allows for efficient transfer of the information to the Audit Server, with a very small amount of traffic, so the audit process has very low overhead and minimal impact on the network.
Concise and Complete Audit Records
Audit Server automatically contacts Domain Time II servers, clients and any specified Network Timing Protocol (NTP) servers to collect their audit data on a schedule you specify. This information is compiled into compact record files that include all relevant information about each monitored system.
