Features
Microchip's SmartFusion2 SoC FPGAs are ideal to implement a wide array of functions, including PCIe Gen2 control plane, image processing, motor control, I/O expansion and bridging. They also address fundamental requirements for advanced security, high reliability and low power in industrial, military, aviation, communications and medical applications.
Future Electronics recently released a new FLiR thermal imaging demo using FLiR's LEPTON sensor to capture thermal images, then display on PC. Because cameras are often stacked vertically, any heat generated on the board with the image sensor will degrade the image quality.
SmartFusion2 devices offer best-in-class power, lowest static power, and the ability to run in Flash*Freeze ultra low power mode during no video or stand-by, making them ideal for thermal imaging cameras and time lapse cameras. Secure FPGA implementation also makes this an ideal solution for night vision applications.
The Future-designed Creative Development Board, featuring Microchip's SmartFusion2 SoC FPGA and Microchip's LX series power devices. The Future - Microchip Creative Development Board boasts a 25K logic element (LE) FPGA, offering the lowest cost of entry for both software and hardware engineers who want to evaluate and implement their own unique designs.
The board is available from Future Electronics in two versions.Visit the website from below link.
