Overview

The EV98D91A is a mikroBUSTM socket board for devices produced in a 2-Lead uVSFN contact package.  The devices are parasitically powered devices that communicate and are charged through the Single-Wire Interface (SWI).  Currently there are two Microchip product families with devices that can be used with this socket board.  Microchip's CryptoAuthentication family of security products has the ECC206 and the SHA106.  These products are parasitically power versions of ECC204 and SHA104 respectively.  The Serial Memory Products Group currently the AT21CS01 1-Kbit Serial Memory.   The boards allow for developing  applications for these products and allow for configuration of the devices prior to mounting them in an application to aid in prorotyping and early development.  The contact package allows for usage in applications where no PCB is required.

  • DM320118 Trust Platform Development Board with Firmware 3.1.0 or Higher
  • DM320109 CryptoAuth Starter Kit + ATMBUSAdapter with Firmware 3.1.0 or Higher
  • Any Microcontroller board with a mikroBUS header

Software:

  • Microchip Trust Platform Development Suite (TPDS)
  • Microchip CryptoAuthentication Library (CAL) Required Ver 3.5.1 or greater
  • Microchip CryptoAuthentication Library (Python) 20230326 or later.
