- The design consists of 3 boards. AC/DC amplifier, low pass Bessel filter and a high pass Butterworth filter, being connected in series for a complete signal conditioning solution.
- Boards must be connected in the order mentioned above to ensure correct operation of the design.
- The amplifier is designed with a gain of 50 to provide sufficient amplification of low voltage signals to drive an ADC.
- The lowpass and high pass filters are connected in series to provide a bandpass between 30hz to 20kHz.
- The filters are designed be able to drive an ADC to a resolution of 12-bits.
The EV58Y02A Evaluation Board has an amplifier as well as a low-pass and high-pass Sallen-Key filter, allowing for a wide range of signal processing capabilities. Users may fine-tune the amplifier's gain and the filter's cutoff frequencies by selectively soldering or unsoldering resistors and capacitors, giving them exact control over signal response. For DC input signals, the use can bypass some capacitors by solder bridging connections. This board allows users to customize frequency response characteristics for a variety of audio and signal processing applications. With its modular architecture and customizable characteristics, the EV58Y02A Evaluation Board provides a versatile platform for experimentation and optimization in fundamental analog signal processing.
