Microchip In New York
The New York office is located in Hauppauge on Long Island. This site was originally the headquarters for Standard Microsystems Corporation (SMSC), which Microchip acquired in 2012. We are a design center with two central business units, the Computer Products Group (CPG) and the USB and Network Group (UNG). Our employees execute processes that include design, testing and validation for automotive information systems, USB, Ethernet and embedded networks, capacitive touch sensors, thermal management, wireless audio, PC systems and Input/Output (I/O) controllers.
Our employees also work in marketing communications, field application engineering, sales, quality control, corporate planning and document control. We currently have 125 employees at this location working together to make Microchip the very best embedded control solutions company ever.
