What is the Complementary Waveform Generator (CWG)?

The CWG generates a complementary waveform with rising- and falling-edge deadband control for high-efficiency synchronous switching with no processor overhead. The CWG also incorporates auto shutdown and restart features that can interface directly with other peripherals or external input signals.

What is the Complementary Output Generator (COG)?

The COG is a more advanced version of the CWG that adds blanking and phase control functionality to the peripheral. Blanking is used for transient filtering while phase control is used for implementing output delay.
