The bridge board provides a facility to change the VDD and external VDD supplies by means of simple solder bridges. No regulator changes are required. (LK1, LK2 and LK3).
A high voltage supply, selectable to either 7.2 V or 10.2 V is available. Voltage selection is provided by a solder bridge.
The high voltage boost supply may be enabled or disabled as required. Note that even when off, approximately 4.5 V is available on the high voltage supply rail (LK7 and LK8).
While ATUSB-PCB-80146 is a great choice for development, for touch sensor mass production consider the THW1027 "D21 maXTouch USB Bridge PCB" from 3rd party Promate. The THW1027 bridge board significantly improves data throughput, increasing test and production efficiency. The THW1027 bridge is twice as fast as the ATUSB-PCB-80146.
