Designing Top-of-Rack Switches

Top-of-rack switches can be used to connect to servers or as a part of a Clos architecture for flexible scaling of data center capacity.

Scale the capacity of your switch without increasing the size of your design. Our compact Ethernet PHYs can provide retiming to solve signal integrity challenges, gearboxing to support a variety of optical module types and can drive signals across copper cables. They offer optional support for FEC at all rates and the SerDes can be optimized to minimize tradeoffs between reach and power.
