LV DC-DC Converter Application Overview


Electric Vehicles (EVs) and Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEVs) utilize multiple voltage rails, specifically LV rails for traditional electrical loads and higher voltage rails for direct or assisted propulsion and other high-voltage functions. DC-DC converters are key systems for voltage balancing and the bidirectional transfer of energy between the different voltage rails within these vehicles.
